American singer and songwriter Peter Cetera’s concerts in Kota Kinabalu and Genting Highlands have been cancelled.
Cetera is supposed to perform at University Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu on Feb 27 and at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands on March 1.
Organiser Star Planet’s chief operating officer Carmen Liew said his concerts in Singapore and Australia were also called off.
The concerts in Kota Kinabalu and Genting Highlands are expected to attract at least 6,000 people.
Cetera is the former lead singer and bassist of renowned pop-rock group Chicago, best known for hit songs If You Leave Me Now, Hard To Say I’m Sorry, Saturday In The Park and You’re The Inspiration.
He became a solo artiste in 1986 and had a major hit song, Glory Of Love, the theme from the film The Karate Kid Part Two.
